Planned improvements this year include upkeep and improvements on some cabins and teaching shelters (including some roofs), lighting upgrades in Victory Center (gym), a gate for the entrance at the RV area, and other program expenses.

Our goal for the Spring Collection this year is $12,500. This money will be used for putting turf in the Gaga pit, putting on two new roofs in the girl’s area, and other program expenses.

This special anniversary season will have a 75^th Anniversary Celebration and a return to four weeks of summer camp with the opportunity for campers to attend multiple weeks.

This year, we are not planning to do any major building expansion or repair projects, nor will there be program additions.

This year we plan to invest in the camper program by adding activities, upgrading and replacing a lot of the equipment used for camper activities.

We are excited to announce that our fundraising efforts this year will be directed toward new roofs for all the buildings in the boy’s area.

Those who have used the old white cabin bathroom over the years are going to be really excited by this news…preparations and plans are being made to replace that old bathroom building with a brand new one!

We plan to use the Spring collection to roof several of the girl’s cabins, to rearrange a few of the cabins according to health department requirements, and make a larger cabin out of two of them.

Our Spring Collections and fundraising efforts over the past two years enabled us to construct a new swimming pool and bathhouse.

Last year’s Spring Collection helped us begin construction on the new swimming pool and bathhouse.

This year the board has designated the funds from the Spring Collection to be used for construction of a new swimming pool in 2014.

The majority of the funds needed for construction will come from a generous gift given in memory of Dorothy Page, a long-time, beloved Camp Hunt nurse and board member.

The most urgent need at Camp Hunt is the renovation of Olbricht/Gray Hall, the dining hall and multi-purpose classroom building which is the central hub of the campground.
